Daytona Beach Police Department: When Officers Assault and Get Away With It, Who’s Watching Them?
I just watched a video that should make every resident of Daytona Beach sick to their stomach.
A young man is on the ground. His hands behind his back. And an officer from the Daytona Beach Police Department is sitting on top of him, punching him in the face repeatedly. Two other officers stand by, doing nothing while people around scream and record.
Let’s be clear: this man was restrained. He was not a threat. Yet he endured violence at the hands of those sworn to serve and protect.
In America, we have the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. That means people can talk back, criticize, or even “trash talk” police without fear of physical retaliation. Words are not a crime. Being disrespectful is not a crime.
Yet, in this video, restrained words meet relentless fists.
Officers are also bound by the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which protects citizens from excessive force. And the Civil Rights Act of 1871 (Section 1983) allows people to sue government officials who violate their constitutional rights.
And still… nothing happens.
This isn’t an isolated incident. There are multiple videos of Daytona Beach officers doing crooked things, and more often than not, nothing happens to them. Instead, they get raises, promotions, and continue patrolling our streets.
One of my other videos shows a Daytona Beach officer planting cocaine in someone’s car, sending that person to prison for three years — while the officer remains on the force today. You might see him walking these streets. And nothing has changed.
Here’s the truth: every time the police record us, put our faces on the internet, or broadcast our mistakes, the law expects full accountability. But when officers commit crimes, it’s often silent. That ends now.
Daytona Beach Police Department, we are watching. Every violation. Every abuse. Every lie.
We are recording. We are sharing. We are exposing.
You cannot pick and choose who deserves accountability. You cannot be above the law. Every officer must be held responsible — because justice is not a privilege for the badge, it’s a right for the people.
Respect is earned, not demanded. And the residents of Daytona and Volusia County are done standing by while officers assault, lie, and cover for each other.
Every video we have of misconduct will be seen. Every act of abuse will be documented. And yes, the world will know. Because the time for silence is over.
Watch closely. Pay attention. This is accountability. Not just for civilians, but for every officer who abuses power in Daytona Beach.

I live in this area and I’ve personally seen situations where things escalated way too fast. Conversations like this need to happen publicly so people can actually talk about what’s going on.
ReplyDeleteThat part 💪🏿✊🏿🫡
DeleteAfter watching that video twice, I’m still trying to understand why the situation escalated the way it did. It didn’t look like it needed to go that far. Daytona Beach Police really need to explain what we’re seeing here.
ReplyDeletePause the video right when the officer swings. The guy’s hands are clearly behind his back. That’s the part that’s going to raise the most questions.
ReplyDeleteThe part that stood out to me was when the young guy tried to help and the two officers grabbed him and held him back. Meanwhile the man on the ground was already handcuffed and still getting punched.
ReplyDeleteThe young man trying to step in shows more courage than the two officers who just held him back. And don’t miss the second video — that same officer, now a detective, planting cocaine in the car. That’s the problem with protecting your own.
ReplyDeleteYou can hear the woman yelling, ‘You Black and you letting him do that,’ while the punches happen. Then, in the next video, that’s a different officer caught putting cocaine in the car. Daytona Beach Police Department really needs to answer for this like they say in this we have freedom of speech in America
ReplyDeleteThe reason they never faced me Justice is because they have the justice system on their side. Judges such as (unhonarable Kathryn D. Weston) protect them and have no problem taking their side when the cops are clearly lying on the stand. Even when you produce evidence proving the lies. It's truly a disgrace and makes you realize that there's not really any justice in the justice system.
